Your Party page is ready for you to add a Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel tracking code.  All the code is pre-installed, and it only requires you to add the ID for each Tracker to begin collecting website traffic and conversion data.  Once you've added your Tracker and Pixel IDs to your Party, Sonlet will automatically send custom tracking events to help Party owners measure the actions that shoppers take on the page.  Specifically, you'll receive "Page view", "Claim item",  "Viewed Done Shopping", and "Clicked Done Shopping" events data.


If you're unfamiliar with Google Analytics tracking ID's, they are free if you have a free gmail account from Google.  We recommend checking out Getting started with Google Analytics resource.


If you're unfamiliar with Facebook Pixel ID's, they are also free and are intended to provide insight into how well a Facebook Ad campaign is performing. It will track how many users click an Ad on Facebook and then proceed to shop on your page and make a purchase.  We recommend checking out the About Facebook Pixel resource, which provides all the information you need for creating a Facebook pixel and getting an ID that can be used for tracking conversions on a Party.


Once you have these IDs, it's easy to add your Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel tracking code to a Party from the Parties "Edit Details" page: 


  1. Ensure you have a Sonlet Business plan by checking your subscription here.
  2. Navigate to the Parties list on your Sonlet account here.
  3. Click the menu button next to the Party you'd like to add tracking code. 
  4. Select "Edit Details".
  5. Scroll to the bottom and paste the Google Analtyics tracking Id and / or Facebook Pixel ID into the input and click "Update".
