Running the nuclear option is a bit trickier when multiple accounts are suspected to be interfering with the connection Sonlet needs to post. These instruction are more complicated, please take care to complete every step correctly.

PREPARE: Remove potential problems


P1. Make sure to cancel all queued posts from all groups before starting the nuclear process. You should not have any pending actions, please check system status to be sure your queue is clear.

P2. Log out of both Sonlet.com and Facebook.com on every device and browser you use. (this is really important!)


PART 1: Disconnect any Social Connections and Facebook from your old account(s)

1A. Log in to your old Sonlet account using your username and password. Visit the Social Account Connections page to look for social connections. If you have a Facebook profile listed, select it, then click Remove.

1B. (SKIP for shopper accounts, go to 1C) If you are disconnecting an old consultant account, visit the Facebook Doctor page. Click the blue Facebook logout button that looks like this:

Once you've clicked it, it will change to read "login". When it says login, move on to step 1C.

1C. Log out of this old Sonlet account. Repeat steps 1A-1C for any additional old Sonlet accounts. Once all old accounts are disconnected, move on to PART 2.



PART 2: Disconnect any Social Connections from your current account


2A. Log in to your current Sonlet account using your username and password. 


2B. Visit the Social Account Connections page to look for social connections. If you have a Facebook profile listed, select it, then click Remove.


2C. Visit the Facebook Doctor page. Click the blue Facebook logout button that looks like this:

Once you've clicked it, it will change to read "login". When it says login, move on to PART 3 



PART 3: Remove Sonlet from your Facebook apps


3A. Log in to Facebook, visit your Facebook application settings, and scroll to find the Sonlet app. Click the box next to Sonlet. Once you've selected Sonlet, click the "remove" button in the top right corner to delete the app from Facebook:

3B. If it applies to you, login to any other Facebook profiles you have used with your current Sonlet account and remove the app from them as well. Logout of those unwanted Facebook accounts after removing the app. 


3C. Make sure you are only logged in to the Facebook profile you want to use with Sonlet (remember, it must be your personal profile, not a page you manage.)



PART 4: Connect your current Sonlet account to the correct Facebook profile


4A. Switch back to your current Sonlet account. 


4B. Visit (or refresh) the Facebook Doctor page. Click the blue Facebook login button that looks like this:

After clicking Log In, you'll need to click through a few screens to grant permissions.


4C. Click "Continue as <Your Name>".  Make sure you don't modify any of the information we receive (in other words don't use the "Edit This" button).


4D. Next you'll be asked to grant permissions for Sonlet to post to Facebook for you.  Make sure you click "Public" (unless all of your shoppers are your Friends on Facebook), then "OK".


4E. Next it will ask you to allow Sonlet to have access to Groups you manage.  Make sure you click "OK".



PART 5: Final steps. 


5A (optional) You can add your social connections again by visiting your 
Social Account Connections page and clicking the blue Facebook login button.


5B. Be sure to click the tiny circular arrows resync button to pull in any new information from Facebook to your Sonlet account before attempting to post inventory.

5C. You can check up on your permissions any time by visiting the Facebook Doctor page. If something is amiss, try troubleshooting before attempting to post to Facebook.
